Disney World Day 5 - Wednesday, April 30

We spent Wednesday back at the Magic Kingdom.
At some point, we were even able to get a family picture!

Riding the ferry over to start the day.  Nate is all set with his coffee, too.

We had a few minutes to investigate the new Fantasyland, which was pretty cool.  Mimi Erin and Henry took some great pictures inside Gaston's but I can't post them.

Grandma and Henry by Gaston's fountain.

View of the new 7 Dwarfs Mine Ride from the backside.
We weren't very impressed with the Ariel's Grotto ride but kept on moving and ended up at the Barnstormer.  Henry loved it but Walter didn't like it...which is funny because Walter loved Thunder Mountain!
 Getting ready for the Barnstormer...

 The first drop!

This was the second round.  Poor Mimi Erin got stuck with me the first grabbing on to her arm the first time we went through but she managed a seat with Walter this time.
You can see Mimi Erin waving and Henry is the seat in front of her.

Let's go again!

Dumbo was next up!  The improved the waiting system so much that we barely had time to take a picture together.

Gramps and Grandma enjoying the ride.

Tea Cups - a few brave souls!

It was pretty tight in our tea cup with 4 people,
so I didn't get the best pictures...but you can see we're having fun.

 Nate letting loose!

Some of us rode Thunder Mountain again and some went to the Country Bear Jamboree and then we met up at this Frontierland establishment.  The bird stole a hamburger off of someone's plate and proceeded to eat it...

Starting to get worn down but Nate is able to
manage a look of awe as he takes in Frontierland in all it's glory!
Henry calls it Texas.

Cooling off in It's a Small World.

One more ride on the People Mover for Henry (soooo much like his mother!).

We were pretty tired and decided it was time to go back to the condo.  Nate and I went to Miller's Orlando Ale House for a steak and lobster anniversary dinner (10 years - can't believe it!)...and then we stopped at Target and got some toilet paper for the condo. :)  We were thankful to be celebrating at Disney World instead of celebrating in the hospital, like we did the year before!

Disney World Day 4 - Tuesday, April 29

After our late night at Hollywood Studios, we slept in a little it on Tuesday before heading to Animal Kingdom.  Henry went ahead with the Mimis, Grandpa, and Grandma to catch the Safari ride while Nate and I made a quick stop with Walter.  We caught up with them after our safari adventure.  Then, Henry and I set off together while the others went on the Safari ride with Walter - again.  A few animals the boys liked:

Can you spot the sleeping lion?

 Henry trying out some drums.

Henry wanted to go do Dinoland U.S.A. and go on a few rides.
I can feel the heat and humidity when I see these pictures.  He's looking so grown up!

 Finally spinning on TriceraTop Spin!

And...we may have stopped to get a snack.

We met up with the rest of the gang at The Boneyard.
I'm not quite ready to see him behind the wheel yet!

Time to eat some lunch and take a cool-down-break. What service!

We barely held it together for "Expedition Everest," "It's Tough to be a Bug," and "Kali River Rapid" but Mimi Megan pulled through with frozen lemonades to save the afternoon and make the walk to the car bearable for Henry and Walter - and as a result, it was more bearable for the rest of us, too!
 Heading back to the condo.

Some poolside relaxation...they look like they know how to do this!

Ending the day with charades and a lot of laughs...

...and maybe tiny bit of frustration...

Disney Day 3 - Monday, April 28

It's about time I get caught up on pictures...considering it's only been a year since we went on our Disney World trip!  Honestly, I'm a little upset with myself because I know I won't be able to recall all the fun details but I'll just have to forgive myself.

So back to Monday, April 28 when we hit Hollywood Studios first thing in the morning.  We walked at a pretty quick clip in order to get in line for Toy Story Midway Mania (I could have sworn this was called Woody's Round-Up, but that's what a year does to you!).  We waited for a little over an hour but the queue areas are so detailed and fun to look over that time moves along - nothing a few granola bars can't help.

A little limbo to keep time ticking away.

Mimi Erin with Dr. Malpractice Pumpin' Heart Game

We finally made it to the front of the line and got our 3D glasses...just waiting for the go-ahead for the next line!  It was well-worth the wait and the boys wanted to go on it again and again.  Later in the evening, we literally sprinted from the parking lot to make our Fastpass time for one last ride!

On to the Star Wars fun!  We went on the Star Tours many, many times and Walter was even selected as one of the rebel spies.  One of our favorite rounds, involved an underwater adventure.

It was hot on this day, very hot actually, so at one point we caught part of the Indiana Jones show which was shaded.  The boys were taken in by all the explosions and stunts (although initially a little worried about the actors).  Afterwards we made our way out and watched  part of the Jedi training.

Walter picked out a customized light saber as a birthday gift from Gramps and Grandma.  (And then proceeded to be mad the whole way home because Henry chose a blaster!)

Somewhere in there was a frozen lemonade break, lightening (Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Playground closed) and a lunch of some sort but I can't remember where...it was hot and eventually we needed a little pool break.

We went to the pool with Mimi Megan and relaxed. Walter decided he wanted to stay at the condo with Mimi Megan, Grandma, and Grandpa instead of going to the Fantasmic! light show...but he changed his mind at the last minute and came along.  We made the aforementioned sprint to Toy Story Mania and then had time to see Voyage of the Little Mermaid (which may have involved some napping...).  Waiting in line for the Little Mermaid show with Mimi Erin.

...A few snacks and some time with dad.

We grabbed some seats and ate the sandwiches we packed for supper while we waited for the light show to begin.  Mimi Erin even left them pick out a fun light toy.  We took some other pictures at the show on our phones...but since I've switched phones, I can't post them here. These two were slightly delirious as we headed back to the car after the Fantasmic! show.  They were all giggles. Lots of fun memories!
