We had a beautiful day at the lake to celebrate Walter's birthday at the end of the month...and of course there was some fishing involved.

Dads' Weekend

It's become sort of an annual tradition to spend some time with our friends at Green Lake when the dads do their fishing weekend together.  These kids know how to have fun together - swimming (BRRRR!), water gun fights, building stuff in the sand, and playing at the park.  Good friends are such a gift!

Happy 5th Birthday

A few pictures from Walter's birthday - he's a special kiddo and we love watching him grow and learn new things.  He's got a love of adventure and a generous heart...I'm sure the Lord has big plans for him!

Disney World Day 8: Saturday, May 3 (2014)

We headed back to the Magic Kingdom for our last (rainy) day. 

We were relieved we were waiting in the 2 minute line for the carousel instead of the 90 minute wait to meet a princess next door.

It's a Small World...Henry and Walter seemed to like this ride.

 The last time we rode the Zurg ride, it stopped for quite a few minutes and the lights came on so we took the opportunity to look around, take pictures...and shoot some more aliens!

I think we stopped by the Toontown Fair area and then caught the train back to Main Street.

And now that our vacation was done, it was time to get some rest!  We're never ready for our time to come to an end and it was a little sad packing up.  Until next time!
