Photo Session with Henry

I don't get to spend as much time with Henry now that he's been going to school.  He's grown up quite a bit and enjoys being independent and social.  I soaked up the time I spent with him on a Sunday morning walk.

 Pretending to be an explorer.

Watching the waves...
I think the North Shore may be one of the places that Henry enjoys the most - he wants to be climbing outside from sun-up to sun-down (and even in the dark).

I thought it was cute he was sticking his tongue out.

Henry has developed an interest in taking pictures and making movies, so he asked if he could take a few pictures:

The Tennis Guy

We stopped at the local school playground on our way back from the Alpine Slide.

Uncle Dave & Megan

Uncle Paul showed up with tennis rackets for the kids and took time to throw balls for them so they could learn some tennis basics.  They loved it!  A few would get to use the rackets and the rest of them chased after the balls that were hit until it was their turn to take a few swings.  The next morning we walked past Uncle Paul's cabin and Henry said, "Hey, did you know that this is where the Tennis Guys lives?"

Warning:  Prepare your eyes for all the chain link!

Sienna's turn (somehow I missed Lincoln's turn!)

Switch!

A little help from Dad.

Uncle Paul

And after supper it's back out on the rocks...even in the rain that came later.
It brings back lots of fun memories for me when I watch the boys playing with their cousins
at the North Shore.

Lincoln taking a leap!

Alpine Slide

Over the last year, every now and then Henry and Walter would ask when we were going to go back to the Alpine Slide.  The long wait was finally over...

Notice the tight grip Walter has on Mimi Erin's arm...

Enjoying the ride with Dad.

 Loving every minute

Lincoln

What a good looking group.

The cheering section

Henry covers his ears when he's nervous - Mimi Erin knows how to give thrill rides.

Nate and Walter made a video of their ride.

The last rides of the day.

I guess Walter had some specific ideas on how fast
Mimi Erin was allowed to go this time around.
