These two cuties are preparing for summer by practicing some swimming moves in the bathtub. We took a funny picture of them together but I'm having a hard time posting it. Hopefully, I can get it to work later.

Another Tea Party
"Mom, let's have another tea party."
We decided to use the little luncheon plates Grandma L gave us - no more of this "saving stuff so that it stays nice" but never getting to enjoy using them! I love the art they drew on their faces with markers. I love my boys...

Easter 2013
A few days before Easter we did an egg hunt using the Resurrection Eggs. After they found all the eggs, we sat down and opened them in order (they each contain an item that helps tell part of the story - donkey, coins, cup, etc) and read a short Bible verse that went with each.
Doesn't everybody collect Easter eggs in army helmets?
Found one!
Getting the eggs in order from one to twelve...
On Sunday morning, they couldn't wait to look in their Easter baskets. We figured they would get plenty of candy later, so we tried to make their baskets about Jesus. I was a little surprised (happily, of course) that they were more excited about getting their own Bibles than they were about the candy.
After church, we headed over to Uncle Ron and Aunt Sherri's house for lunch.

While Henry sneaks in a workout, Walter hangs out with Dad, Uncle Jon and Justin (Nate's cousin).
Working on a wiggly tooth (which is now gone).
Waiting for dessert to be served.
Still waiting...

...and I just had to include this one, too.
G.I. Joe & Donuts
Henry and Walter have discovered G.I. Joe and they think it's pretty fun to get on their gear and enact their own scenes. Walter likes being Duke, Henry is Flint, and I get to be Scarlett (it's ok to laugh, I won't cry too much).
Walter and I baked some donuts while Henry played with Lego's one afternoon. They were both more the happy to test the donuts...
Noah's Birthday Party
In mid-March we were invited help celebrate our friend's 4th birthday. We always enjoy the time we get to spend with Noah and his family. They were kind enough to have us stay for the day - of course, the kids had a ton of fun running around, playing with Lego's, racing through the snow and checking out all their pets.
A quick picture of the kids before the stampede for cake...
I wish I had more pictures, but my camera was having a hard time focusing so this is what I've got:

And in the end we all needed a little rest, so a VeggieTales viewing was in order.
